Try to remember how it looks now, cause it won’t look like that when he’s done…. Items getting done: All the holes from the side moulding are getting welded shut Rear will be shaved (new reinforced metal to replace the rear panel that currently has the bumper holes cut into it) Frame rail replacement Car will be stripped down and all rust, dings, dents repaired (there’s really not much rust, thankfully) Paint will be sandblasted off (paint is cracked) Flares will be cut and installed Antenna may be shaved also Rear spoiler will be added Side mirrors will be shaved [See more...]

 

The drivers side frame rail had some damage.  Looks like it got hit hard and left to rot away.  It will be replaced with a frame rail replacement I got from Bad Dog Parts (http://www.baddogparts.com/)  – they are updating to a new website soon. Here’s a pic that Leo sent me – Leo is the body guy that taking care of her for me.

Last couple of pics before the 280z  bodywork commences…   Side mirrors will be removed and holes patched Rust will be taken care of before it gets any worse (windows will be removed to get it all) Rear will get a clean look with some protection built into it All holes will be welded shut and cleaned up That includes the antenna          

 

Obviously not done, but wanted to get something out there on color..

With the exhaust being a bit low right now and the tire size, this is about as low as I want to go right now.   Here’s how the exhaust sits right now… no need to scrape the hell out of it for nothing.       Animals are safe. Finished camber plate/coilover front: Here’s the finished rears before they went back on:
